Terms of Service

Short version: you buy a licence to use our MLOs on your own servers. Leaking or sharing them is not allowed and has consequences, and because everything is digital, all sales are final.

1. Who we are

Verdant Studios ("we", "us") is an independent FiveM development studio based in the Netherlands. We create and sell MLOs and maps for FiveM servers. You can reach us at help@verdant-studios.net or through a ticket in our Discord.

2. Scope

These terms apply to every visit to this website and every purchase of our products, including FiveM MLOs, maps, bundles and any updates we release for them. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.

3. Purchases and payment

All payments are processed by Tebex Limited, which acts as our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Tebex handles payment, VAT and invoicing, and its own checkout terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown before checkout; VAT is calculated by Tebex based on your location.

4. Delivery

Products are delivered digitally through Cfx.re asset escrow. After payment, the product is granted to the Cfx.re account you logged in with and appears under Granted Assets on portal.cfx.re. Make sure you log in with the account that owns your server; we cannot move a purchase to another account.

5. Your licence

When you buy a product you receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use it on FiveM servers owned or operated by the purchasing Cfx.re account. You do not buy the product itself; all intellectual property remains with Verdant Studios.

You may:

• use the product on your own server(s);
• edit the product for use on those servers, where the escrow system allows it.

You may not:

• share, upload, sell, resell, give away, trade or otherwise distribute the product or any part of it, original or modified;
• attempt to bypass, decrypt or remove the asset escrow or any other protection;
• use our products, names, screenshots or branding to promote other stores or products;
• help anyone else do any of the above.

6. Leaking and misuse

"Involved" includes uploading or posting the files, sending them to others, offering or requesting them on leak sites, forums or Discord servers, running or knowingly hosting a server that uses leaked copies, and helping others bypass the escrow protection.

If we find or reasonably suspect a breach, we may, without prior notice and without any refund:

• revoke your licence and request removal of the product from your Cfx.re account through Tebex and Cfx.re;
• permanently ban you from our store, our Discord and all future purchases and updates;
• report the breach to Cfx.re, Tebex and the platforms where the content was shared, including copyright takedown requests (DMCA or equivalent);
• share the relevant details with other FiveM creators where this is needed to prevent further misuse;
• take legal action and claim compensation for the damage caused, including lost sales and the costs of enforcement.

These measures can apply to every account, server and person involved, not only the original buyer.

7. No refunds

By completing your purchase you expressly agree that delivery starts immediately, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period that normally applies to online purchases in the EU). Please read the product description carefully and ask any questions in our Discord before you buy.

This does not affect your legal rights if a product is faulty or does not match its description. In that case, open a Discord ticket or email help@verdant-studios.net and we will fix the problem, provide a working update or, if that is not possible, find a fair solution.

Opening a chargeback or payment dispute for a product you received and can use is treated as a breach of these terms and may lead to the measures in section 6.

8. Support and updates

We offer installation help through Discord tickets. We aim to keep our products working with current FiveM builds and may release free updates, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every server setup, framework or third-party resource.

9. Liability

Our products are provided as described on their product page. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost income, lost data or problems caused by your server configuration or other resources. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Not affiliated

Verdant Studios is an independent creator. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Cfx.re. FiveM is a trademark of its respective owner.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase. These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise. Questions? Contact us at help@verdant-studios.net.
